Thank you for joining us at Solidity Summit 2020, the online version! Your input and active participation is much appreciated and we hope you enjoyed the event as much as we did. You can re-watch all talks here.

ABOUT

The Solidity Summit is a free interactive forum for people involved and interested in the Solidity language and the ecosystem around it. It features discussions & talks on Solidity, Yul, language design and tooling. The event wants to promote useful discussions that result in language improvement proposals, leading to actual implementations. Furthermore, we aim to foster communication between teams working on similar topics and identify needs for the smart contract ecosystem for Ethereum.

You can find the agenda of the 2020 online edition here.

PARTICIPATE ONLINE

The summit is powered by Interspace.Chat. Interspace is a virtual meeting infrastructure based on self-hosted Jitsi video chat rooms.

You can participate the event by either joining the Jitsi video conference room or by watching the livestream. Unless you actively want to participate/talk/present during the respective session, we recommend using the livestream option to ensure a smooth experience for everyone and save your CPU.

Visit the Solidity Summit's Interspace portal to participate. The portal includes all relevant links (chat, livestream, video conference, agenda) in one place.

WHO CAN JOIN?

Do you have a change proposal for the Solidity language? Are you using a language feature in a novel way that might benefit others? Do you want to build a debugger but are missing information from the compiler? Are you working with Solidity on a day-to-day basis and just want to hang out with similar-minded people? Then this event is for you!

TOPICS

Solidity (change proposals to the language, analyses, ...)
Yul (change proposals to the language, analyses, ...)
unification / extension of the ABI
debuggers and debugging data output
source verification
NatSpec
metadata / packages
testing frameworks for Smart Contracts
unifying or simplifying the deployment process
integration into existing "larger ecosystem tools" (e.g. vscode via Language Server, LLVM, DWARF)
mechanisms / programming patterns (on the EVM) like mutexes, state machines, upgradeable contracts, libraries, create2, etc.
meta transactions, a.k.a. gasless transactions, the gas station network etc.
